Every now and again, a British brand does something a little special – going the extra mile and proving we can compete in the international streetwear game. This next product release (that went live today) is a perfect example…

FatKidOnFire favourites Soap-Box are well-known for their sweet design work and the sick sweats and tees that they’ve produced in the past. Whilst this is the case, Dan and the rest of the Soap-Box team are never keen resting on their laurels. This year, they’ve been quietly working away in their chemistry lab and have concocted something extremely special. The stadium or varsity jacket has always been a wardrobe favourite (we’ve got more than we dare to count between us here at FKOF HQ), and Soap-Box have gone in hard with their interpretation of one of this season’s must-haves.
The Soap-Box stadium jacket was designed from the ground upwards and was all hand crafted on home soil, here in the UK. The jacket is made up using heavyweight Italian melton wool and features genuine leather detailing for the pockets and sleeve patches, with each piece being individually numbered from 1-25. There are two colourways, Black/ Navy and Grey/ Navy (with extremely subtle green accents on the elasticated piping) and both feature an embroidered Soap-Box logo on the left breast.
Peep more detailed shots of the jackets and grab yours whilst you can from the Soap-Box webstore – these will fly so don’t sleep! The Soap-Box stadium jacket is most definitely a steal at £129.99 (including free International P&P!) considering their heritage. Go cop, we’ve got the Black/ Navy on order!
As you can probably tell by the occasional sneak peeks we drop here at FKOF HQ, we’re always on the look out for exclusives of what all of our friends are doing. Continuing this theme, we’re proud to give you guys another drop on a new tee Soap-Box have got up their sleeves…
The Create & Destroy tee is the 3rd release from our iHate Humans Series. It’s a 4 colour design which will also be available as a crew. The design is playful in the sense that it’s actually a diagram which links all four squares horizontally and vertically.

It’s good to see Soap-Box doing so well – we’ve definitely got a good selection of brands to be proud of here in the UK. Maybe things are looking up for the UK streetwear game?!
Peace, love and respect.
