With the onset of winter and its associated misery quickly blanketing FatKidOnFire HQ in unpleasantly low temperatures, it’s always good to get an email or two to cheer me up. I had such an email from Ben over at Bake Designs – one of Bristol’s finest brands to feature here at FKOF.
Ben’s been hard at work and has unveiled Bake’s (awesome) collection for A/W 2010. the new line features five new designs available from the Bigcartel page and an exclusive only available via a competition Ben’s running (more on that later)…

This tee is a complete one off print, specially produced for Bake Designs by Uno One print and design, and is part of Bake’s first ever competition.
All you need to do to have a chance of winning is submit a photo of yourself wearing a pair of Air-Max 90 Infrareds to the Bake Designs Facebook page. The best photo submitted wins.
The competition will run from Friday 5th November until midnight Friday 3rd December 2010, with the winner being announced the following Monday.
The winner will receive the one of a kind Air-Max 90 inspired tee (men’s size large) along with a couple of other surprises.
So get snapping and good luck!
Lastly, Bake have just dropped their latest mixtape. After the huge success of the first mix from Synamatix it’s good to see Ben and the rest of the Bake fam continuing their run of form! Bake mix Vol. 2 is mixed by Bristol’s Link (who models the “Big B” tee in the lookbook) purely on vinyl – it’s good to see Djs keeping the art alive!
