DMZ at Fire London - Loud Noise x FatKidOnFire

DMZ at Fire London

Loud Noise x FatKidOnFire

Frequent readers will have noticed we’ve waxed lyrical (and then some) about the influence Mala and Coki have had on the team here at FatKidOnFire. And their obvious influence on the sound we all know and love.

The duo have started playing London again recently, with the return of DMZ dances (under the Broken Dub House banner) to Brixton’s Prince of Wales powered by Jon and the guys at RC1.

But, off the top of my head, I can’t remember seeing Mala and Coki on the same bill in town playing something they’ve not put on…

Loud Noise present DMZ at Fire London

So I was pretty stoked to spot them appear on the headline slot at Loud Noise‘s next Fire event a few days back (shouts to V and Kai for the heads up)!

On 14th November, Mala and Coki alongside a (pretty wicked!) line up of New York Transit Authority b2b Swamp81’s Mickey Pearce, the first Mensah show in absolutely forever and support from Jack Swift and the Loud Noise residents.

With the closure of Cable (RIP) and the rest of the quality non-Fabric venues disappearing, Fire’s quickly become one of my favourite spots – so to see DMZ play there will definitely be a highlight.

Early bird and first release tickets are already sold out – so you’ll need to act quick on picking them up from Resident Advisor! £12 tickets sell out 4pm Tuesday afternoon and then 3rd release tickets go up to £15 so don’t sleep.

We’ve also teamed up with Loud Noise to give a few lucky FKOF fans the opportunity to attend the event for free. Head over to the FKOF FB page where we’re giving away two pairs of guest list tickets over the next few days. Good luck to everyone who enters!

All the info’s on the flyer so check RA and the event page (link below) and hopefully see you by the subs.
