Dj Scooter x FatKidOnFire - Mixtape #3.9

Dj Scooter x FatKidOnFire

Mixtape #3.9

The next few days are gearing up to be pretty messy, but that’s exactly how bank holidays should be. The beer’s already flowing freely at FKOF HQ in preparation for tonight with the Dropfellas lads (and many others) and we’ve just peeped this awesome looking night on at the Nomad club tomorrow. Looks like our bank holiday’s going to spent nursing a hangover…

It’s party time this Friday 22nd April, and UK music blog “Yeti in the Basement” are bringing the heat to East London with Scratcha DVA / Optimum / James Fox / Synamatix / Baitface / Temple / Spectre.

A big lineup for an unmissable night of sounds from the ever evolving UK Bass scene.

As Easter bank holiday approaches, the Basement Yeti camp is getting hyped up for a night of bass driven shenanigans. This time round we bring to you Rinse FM don Scratcha DVA, accompanied by progressive rhythm selector Optimum, alongside superb groove pusher James Fox.  Supporting them will be a carefully selected list of DJs providing the finest dubstep, uk funky, 80’s disco and anything in between.  Roll off Old Street and join us at east-London’s characteristic boozer Nomad for some quality sound system antics.

You can win a pair of tickets and 2 t-shirts just by ‘liking’ Yeti in The Basement on Facebook. And if you don’t win, you still get entered onto the £6 cheap list. Easy! Also, make sure you head over to the Facebook event to click ‘attending’.

We’re also impressed to see a QR code on the flyer as well, definitely a good look. If you’re going along to either event (tonight or Y.i.t.B tomorrow) come say hi!

Anyway. To get you in the mood for bank holiday messiness, here’s the latest mix from one of FKOF’s resident homies from C-Bus. It’s been forever (well, almost 10 weeks) since we welcomed Dj Scooter to the FatKidOnFire decks so it’s awesome to be able to welcome him back! There is a download link to his latest mix, holla if you want it.

As always, find Dj Scooter on Twitter if you like his mix – he’d love to hear from you!

If you have any thoughts on Scott’s latest mix, or anything else you’ve seen on FatKidOnFire, fire us a comment or get in touch via emailTwitterFacebook or the FKOF TakesQuestions page.

Peace, love and respect.
