New Music…

New Music…

Brum-based badman and FKOF resident DJ Justify‘s latest ‘New Music…‘ post has just landed in my inbox. In no particular order, here’s some of the best new tunes we’re feeling here on FatKidOnFire…

FKOF - New Music

SHD‘s ‘Dutty’ [forthcoming Sub:Conscious]

This one truly is Dutty (with a capital ‘D’). SHD’s latest demands a reload in the dance, with the crowd shouting for more. Soon come to Nottingham’s Sub:Conscious!

Rufus‘ ‘Control The Sound’ [dub]

Don’t do the young producer, or his latest tune, the disservice of listening to ‘Control The Sound’ without a solid sub. Yes Rufus!

Chaksa‘s ‘Subliminal’ [dub]

Keeping it subliminal and taking things down to 126bpm with London’s Chaksa. Nice work dude!

Turner‘s – The Recipe [dub]

A relentless sub line and percussion that’ll knock you about like Mike Tyson. Not for the faint-hearted!

Krease‘s ‘Lost City’ [forthcoming Dubtribu Records]

Old school vibes from Birmingham’s Krease (and his second mention in the ‘New Music…’ posts) and London’s Dubtribu Records. Big, big tune…

Sparxy‘s ‘Centaurus’ [dub]

The Pompey-based producer never fails to impress. Sparxy’s kept his signature sound, but took it down a level, with the all-new ‘Centaurus’. Watch for him playing it out live…

subject_‘s ‘RS10.2’ [dub]

More of this please! Bath’s subject_ is new to me but this 140 refix is a show stopper.

Lefty‘s ‘Untitled’ [dub]

Infectious grooves from the highly versatile Lefty. What is it about bass music and New Zealand?

Deafblind – The Infection Point [forthcoming Sub Pressure]

“The final track from Deafblind’s forthcoming EP incorporates a shifted, broken rhythm with cutting edge sound design and a contemplative vibe.”
No other words necessary. If you missed our earlier feature with Sub Pressure, check it here.

Widowmaker‘s ‘Untitled Shuffle’ [dub]

This one’s different – in a very, very good way. Be sure to check ‘Slipstream‘ as well. Ooft!

Subreacher‘s ‘FKOFd002’ [forthcoming FatKidOnFire]

If you missed the news, we’re back with the next four track EP on our new label… Big ups Subreachers and 11th Hour, this release is special!

Peace, love and respect.
